Gilly is a food journalist, author, and food podcaster with a love of storytelling. She presents and produces the delicious.podcast, Leon's How to Eat to Save the Planet and Cooking the Books with Gilly Smith and has interviewed most of Britain's leading food writers, chefs and activists. She is the author of biographies on Nigella Lawson and Jamie Oliver, and her latest book, Taste and the TV Chef is published in Sept 2020. She is writing a book about podcasting which comes out with its own podcast How to Grow a Pod in Jan 21.
